Todd and his team did an incredible job with our floor. We removed walls and needed to have flooring patched into a large section right in the middle of our home. They were able to accomplish this perfectly. Todd is great to work with, he communicates well, follows up, and responds quickly. We highly recommend Todd and HFG. Very professional and meticulous work. I bought a new home and the floor was filled with scratches. Todd suggested a deep cleaning and the floor came out great. Everyone I spoke to had told me to just cover up the floor with vinyl or laminate but I did not want to take that route considering the home had hardwood floors. Highest integrity, highest standard wood floor company I have ever worked with.
During our kitchen remodel in December, we discovered our 20-yr old wood floor was damaged beyond recovery. To redo entire floor was not an option, as floor extended to three other nearby rooms, with no place for a threshold. And our wood product was no longer made by any manufacturer. Our kitchen designer highly recommended Todd, saying he was a “miracle worker”.  We needed a highly creative solution and it would have to be installed and custom stained in an impossibly precise way, to accommodate 20-yrs of sunlight hitting the old floor. Nobody thought it could be done – not even Todd. But somehow, he and his excellent assistant managed to fix the unfixable -- and on time, too.
When he came for final check, he asked if I liked the floor. I said yes, it’s good. But he frowned. “It’s not perfect. I’m going to re-seal it.” And to my amazement, he came that weekend and resealed the new floor. No extra charges, he just wanted to deliver excellence and get it right. Amazing fellow. Then, on top of that, he advised that our price was actually going to go down by a few hundred dollars, due to a material he had on hand, a leftover from another job, so he did not have to order. Oh my. If only all businesses were like this…
We were so thrilled with his excellence and integrity that we used him a month later to install a guest bedroom wood floor (gorgeous!), and also to fix damage in our wet-bar. Again, results were perfect.
The owner, Todd, is a quiet, serious man who under-promises and over-delivers. He’s creative but not showy. Very understated manner – do not expect a sales type. But know that his standards are higher than your or my standards, and his knowledge, skill set, resourcefulness in finding products or solutions, and attentiveness to his business, are truly superb.

I used Todd’s company to remove and reinstall wood flooring that my contractor did incorrectly. They did an amazing job. The crew were professional, courteous, and cleaned up everyday before leaving.  Can’t imagine any other  wood flooring company could do a better job.
